Out of more than 170 applications from 62 countries, our colleague Spasenija Gajinov has been selected as one of eight nominees in her category for the international Women in Ag Award 2026, presented by DLG and Women in Ag Magazine.
Agriculture is changing fast, and the women driving that change are finally getting the spotlight they deserve. We are proud to share that Spasenija Gajinov, Head of Product and Business Development at DunavNET, has been nominated for the Women in Ag Award 2026.
The award, organised by DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft) together with Women in Ag Magazine, celebrates women who are shaping the future of agriculture in farming, agribusiness, education, and technology and research. This year's edition attracted more than 170 applications from 62 countries. After a thorough review, the international jury selected eight nominees per category.
Bringing digital tools to the field
Senka's nomination recognises her work on agroNET, a digital farming platform that helps farmers and agricultural stakeholders turn data into better everyday decisions. Farmers use it to monitor their fields, optimise irrigation and use resources more efficiently. Her focus has always been on making technology practical and accessible, so that it serves the people who work the land.
Her story will be featured on the DLG and EuroTier websites as part of the award's global showcase of women in agriculture.

The official award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 11 November 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the DLG stand during EuroTier in Hanover, Germany, the world's leading trade fair for professional animal husbandry and livestock management.
